Founded in 1988, the General Thoracic Surgical Club is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization representing general thoracic surgeons who are dedicated to ensuring the best possible outcomes for surgical procedures of the lung, mediastinum, esophagus, and chest wall by providing the highest quality patient care through education, research, and clinical experience. For over 30 years, the General Thoracic Surgical Club (GTSC) has been the "Who's Who" of surgeons committed to the practice of general thoracic surgery. Becoming a member of GTSC means collaborating with prominent professionals in the field to promote excellence in research and the dissemination of research findings in the field of general thoracic surgery. The GTSC Annual Meeting is the place to learn about the latest research across specialties in general thoracic surgery. It is an opportunity for you to have one-on-one discussions with experts in the field and connect with your peers. During the Movie Night, Superbowl of X-Rays and invited lectures, Candidate, Associate and Senior members of various backgrounds teach about the most current and ground-breaking developments in the field. The GTSC Annual Meeting is typically held in March from Thursday - Saturday and includes all meals.
