University of Cincinnati College of Medicine: Thoracic Surgeon

The Department of Surgery, Division of Thoracic Surgery, at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a full-time academic general thoracic surgeon to join our growing practice.  The Division is an integral part of the large University of Cincinnati Health system, the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  The University of Cincinnati is the only academic center in the region.

Successful candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with the ABTS by July 2021. Candidates should be proficient in all aspects of general thoracic surgery, including minimally invasive procedures.  Candidates must also be committed to an academic career that combines outstanding patient care with excellent teaching and research activities. A key component of this position involves teaching medical students as well as residents in both general surgery and thoracic surgery residency programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Successful applicants will be provided with competitive salary and benefits.
