Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is conducting a search for a full-time general thoracic surgeon to join our thriving surgical practice. Board-certified/board-eligible thoracic surgeons who are newly graduated, at the mid-career level, or in senior leadership positions and looking for a new challenge are all encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, a commitment to academic scholarship, and a strong interest in postgraduate teaching. The position includes participation in education efforts for our ACGME-accredited general surgery and thoracic surgery residency programs, as well as training of our advanced postgraduate fellows. Our center has significant infrastructure and the collaborative atmosphere to support an individual’s professional pursuits in any domain, including research, education, and niches within the clinical practice.
