WHY DONATE TO GTSC?

• Help achieve GTSC's mission of advancing and strengthening the general thoracic surgery community through clinically relevant scientific education, networking and the sharing of best practices among professionals in general thoracic surgery. (General Fund)
   
• Every year, GTSC supports one medical student; general surgery resident; thoracic surgery resident; and/or fellow by presenting them with the Peter C. Pairolero Scholarship. The Scholarship covers hotel accommodations at the upcoming Annual Meeting (three nights room and tax only), registration fee and reimbursement of up to $750 for travel expenses.
   
• Every year, GTSC supports the top two best abstracts from medical students; general surgery residents; thoracic surgery residents; and/or fellows by presenting them with the Society of Thoracic Surgeons scholarship. The Scholarship covers hotel accommodations at the upcoming Annual Meeting (three nights room and tax only), registration fee and reimbursement of up to $750 for travel expenses.
   
• With your help GTSC makes our Annual Meetings affordable for members, students, residents, and fellows-in-training, which is fundamental for development of our field. (General Fund)
