Hoag Memorial Hospital: Thoracic Surgeon Recruitment

Newport Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery is recruiting a highly skilled and personable thoracic surgeon to join a U.S. News & World Report nationally ranked program based in Newport Beach, California.  Candidate will join an established team of cardiothoracic surgeons and PAs whose group has covered Hoag Memorial Hospital and its network exclusively for 34 years. The ideal candidate will be ABTS-certified with advanced robotic skills and a particular interest in esophageal surgery.  Experience with minimally invasive esophageal surgery, for both benign and malignant disease, is essential. At least three years of clinical experience after completion of ACGME-accredited thoracic surgery residency preferred, however new graduates with exceptional credentials and references will be strongly considered.  Responsibilities will include all aspects of general thoracic surgery with an emphasis on thoracic oncology.  Competitive salary will be provided commensurate with MGMA metrics.
